Building on the foundations of Level 1, PAS Level 2 moves students from basic awareness to strategic autonomy. This course is designed to harden your Identity Armour—the internal operating system that allows you to think clearly and act decisively when the stakes are high.
Through high-pressure “safe-fail” scenarios, you will learn to deconstruct the Cognitive Hijack, recognising how biochemical triggers like dopamine and adrenaline are weaponised by external influences to control your choices. You will move beyond simply identifying risks to mastering the strategic “how” behind every decision you make
Key Focus Areas:
Deconstructing Manipulation: Recognizing the mechanics of social engineering in social media, gambling, and peer pressure.
The Personal Rule: Developing pre-loaded decision frameworks that bypass adolescent impulsivity and ensure rational action under pressure.
Instinctive Response (SIRS): Refining automatic physical and verbal boundaries to ensure your voice and presence act as a tool of deterrence.
Vicarious Mastery: Working in tactical teams to analyse outcomes and strengthen collective problem-solving skills.
By the end of Level 2, you won’t just be a passenger of circumstance—you will be the active author of your own choices, equipped with the street smarts and self-efficacy required for the modern world.
Refine your internal framework. Identify which personal rules worked in Level 1 and where your boundaries need tightening for more complex social environments.
A deeper look at the chemistry of choice. Learn how specific high-pressure social environments are engineered to trigger impulsive decisions before you even realise it.
Deconstruct how groups move. Learn to spot the "hidden hand" in social circles—understanding how peers and leaders subtly nudge your behaviour.
Master the verbal glue. Learn how to use language that builds instant rapport and group identity while maintaining your individual autonomy.
Spot the " linguistic Trojan Horse." Identify specific words and phrases designed to bypass your logic and hook your emotions.
Learn why "limited time" or "exclusive" offers shut down your brain's critical thinking and how to stay rational under artificial pressure.
Understand the "Bandwagon Effect." Learn to recognize when you are following the crowd simply because everyone else is doing it, rather than making a value-led choice.
Move beyond gut feelings. Learn to synthesize subtle environmental cues into accurate predictions of high-stakes behaviour.
Don't be distracted by what people say. Learn to focus on the environment and situation to determine if a threat or promise is actually credible.
Identify the seven primal drivers (Status, Security, Autonomy, etc.) in others to create win-win outcomes in complex negotiations.
Recognise when options are being narrowed for you. Learn how to reclaim your agency when someone provides a false binary (Choice A or Choice B)
Learn how compelling stories "transport" your mind and lower your defences. Develop the ability to stay grounded when being sold a vision.
<!-->-->
Recognise when you are being cast in someone else's story. Learn to stay the "Author" of your own narrative rather than a character in a brand’s plot.
Learn how to "reframe" a failure into an opportunity for growth. Use cognitive shifts to keep your team or yourself motivated after a setback.
A workshop on the morality of agency. Where does helpful guidance end and coercive control begin? Develop your personal ethical compass.
Advanced space awareness. Learn to navigate crowded or volatile physical environments while maintaining a "Combat-Ready" physiological state.
Finalising instinctive response automation. Ensure your physical safety habits are so deeply ingrained they activate even under extreme "Cognitive Hijack".
Transitioning from the classroom to the workplace. Learn how to set firm, non-negotiable boundaries with supervisors and colleagues without damaging rapport.
Deconstruct the process of "refusal to let go." Learn the specific strategy for removing unwanted persistence from your life through non-engagement.
Team-based deconstruction of high-stakes failures and successes. Learn from the experiences of others to strengthen your own self-efficacy.
Mastering your physiological feedback. Learn to interpret high arousal (sweaty palms, racing heart) as fuel for action rather than signs of fear.
Break down massive life challenges into "Proximal Subgoals." Build a cycle of small wins to maintain high motivation and self-belief.
Using tone, cadence, and volume as physical tools. Learn how "Ethical Appeal" and presence can stop a conflict before it becomes physical.
A series of rapid-fire, complex scenarios requiring the simultaneous use of verbal, physical, and situational agency.
Final assessment of your Identity Armour. Finalize your Advanced Personal Rules and prepare to step into the world as a fully autonomous citizen.
